Overview

Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1156, by Zhadih Ab Owain. The establishment of Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se is buildings are built arround a single restrictive gravel mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Unfortuantly, these somewhat suffishent are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Your first impression of Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se proves to be right on the money. This town is where the rebels chose to settle. Fashion trends are quite simply the opposite of what’s popular in the other nearby communities. THis trend extends everywhere. Things that should be black are white, what would normally be square is organically curved, and what is typically unthinkable for polite society is more than welcome in this public square. Up to the logical limits, of course. There’s no flaying someone alive to eat their skin going on, but the women are dressed a little immodestly, the men are a little more emotional, and the food is all overly complex and terrible.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

The locals are in a state of despair and dull apathy. They've lost the things that used to give them pride and hope, with the best among them carrying on out of habitual duty and the worst giving ready hands to shameful deeds and ignoble acts. No one really believes the future can be better, and most seek only to satisfy immediate appetites.

Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is recurring in Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se.

The Beetle, Giant Stag near Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Kíhf Noiēti̊ Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves reenactments to channel Abjuration energies of tier 3 via guttural bellowing.
